It’s Out, Wot Now?

The Starter Book is here, hurray! Rather than wax too lyrical about the various travails and challenges that led me to this moment, I will merely say whew!

Wot next?

What is next for OTHR? Well, a great deal in fact. This is merely the first hammer blow on the seemingly immovable bedrock of success. However, I have made it this far, what’s another few more years, eh? Expansions, improvements – just more OTHR, it’s a’comin’. Stay glued to the ‘gram, or even join the Discord to stay updated, valued customer.

The game can be played, you should play the game. However, I am still able and willing to improve the Starter Book further, there are still things that I know can be improved. The first of these will – naturally – be fabulous and delicious artwork.

Wot, no art?

No artist, I. However, I made the extremely tough and gruesome decision to forge ahead regardless. I could wait until I had the funds to commission all the art my avaricious heart desires, or wait until I could do it myself, and simply have no game. I didn’t want to have no game. By supporting the game, you support the future snaffling up of art, which will be part of future releases and updated versions of the Starter Book. It. Will. Come.

Wot, no crowd fundin’?

I make stuff, and you pay for it; that is my current model. If I was ever to go down the crowd-funding route or similar, I know in my heart that I would botch it. It may work for others, and the best of luck to them, but I am but one man. Slow and steady. It ain’t a grand or glamourous strategy, but you get exactly what you pay for; stuff hot and ready out of the brain-oven.
